Many of our facilities specialize in cloud deployments and have pre-existing relationships with software providers like VMWARE or have specialty MAC or UNIX support staff. They understand the platforms and can supply qualified "remote hands" as required.
POWER AND INTERIOR CONDITIONS
We are intimately familiar with each facility's SLA for power and cooling, and the details that really matter to your deployment and data/connection/power integrity. This relates to humidity, average temperature in hot and cold isles, total available power (and whether or not the power has multiple feeds from individual or separate substations), back-up power, and average loads. If you provide us with your server(s) information, we'll estimate your power requirements and help you determine both the appropriate facility and whether you need single phase 120v or 3 phase circuits @ 208v. All these factors represent REAL COSTS and REAL RISKS to your company. It's far better to have it all worked out in advance.
CONNECTIVITY
Connectivity varies widely from provider to provider. Some are in the meet-me rooms which shorten latency and hops, some bill heavily for cross-connects, some can provide you with incredible feeds at no additional charge. In many instances, we can negotiate better connectivity for you as a part of your initial contract.
